Free Google Ads audit

Find out where your Google Ads budget is going.

I’ll complete a focused Google Ads audit for the services and locations that matter to you. We’ll look at wasted PPC spend, search terms, campaign structure, location targeting and the conversion data Google is using.

An account review you can act on.

Plain English findings. A short list of priorities. A direct conversation with the person who did the review.

The review

Five things I check first.

01

Search terms

The real searches spending your budget, including irrelevant or low value terms.

02

Service areas

Where ads show compared with where your business can actually work.

03

Conversions

What Google counts as a lead, and whether calls and forms are measured properly.

04

Campaign structure

Whether services, ads and landing pages line up with the customer’s intent.

05

Budget decisions

Where spend is concentrated, and which changes deserve a test first.

What the audit uncovers

A practical PPC account audit, not a generic score.

Your free Google Ads audit is centred on the decisions that affect local lead generation. I compare the account with your real services, service area and definition of a valuable enquiry.

Traffic quality

Search terms and negative keywords

Find out whether the account is paying for local customers, unrelated research, jobs, DIY searches or services the business does not provide.

Location control

Service-area targeting

Check presence settings, included locations, excluded areas and location performance so the campaign is not spending beyond the places your team can serve.

Tracking

Calls, forms and WhatsApp

Review primary and secondary conversions, website call tracking, calls from ads, form completions and other signals that can inflate or hide the true lead count.

Next actions

Prioritised account fixes

Leave with a short list of changes to test first. If management is needed, the scope is discussed separately and your ad spend remains paid directly to Google.

The conversation

What happens after you book.

01

Tell me what matters

Share the services you want to promote, the areas you cover and what a valuable enquiry looks like.

02

I review the account

I check the searches, settings and lead tracking available. If there is no account yet, we discuss a sensible starting approach.

03

Get clear priorities

We talk through the findings and the first changes I would consider. Any setup or management work is agreed separately.

Account access helps me make the review specific. If you do not have it ready, we can still discuss the services and locations you want to advertise.

What you get

A clearer next step, even if we never work together.

On the call, I’ll explain the two or three changes I would make first and why. If the account is already in good shape, I’ll tell you that too. A deeper rebuild or ongoing management is a separate decision.

Bring this to the call

✓ Your website and main services
✓ Areas you cover
✓ An idea of your monthly ad spend
✓ Access to Google Ads, if you have an account
✓ A few examples of good and bad leads

Questions

About the free audit.

Do I need an existing account?

No. If you have not launched yet, we can review local demand, your offer and the first sensible campaign structure.

Is this a sales call?

I will tell you if I think I can help and what working together would involve. The review should still leave you with useful next steps.

How long does it take?

The initial call is short. The depth of the review depends on whether I can access the account and how much history it has.

Will you make changes during the audit?

No. I’ll first show you what I found. We agree on any account work separately.
